I've visited makin bacon a few times for breakfast, food is 5 star, the best breakfast in my option you can get in NI. The attention to detail and taste are first class. We called this wet Sunday evening to what is now Frosty Moo and we were not disappointed! Fantastic dessert ice cream, something different from the normal ice cream pots that pop up everywhere. We went for apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding, along with ice cream for the children (Turkish delight and lemon/ chocolate brownie). Absolutely gorgeous, so so tasty, even the hard to please husband was impressed!! Looking forward to breakfast on the bus soon!!

Amazing food as always, I look forward to our weekend treat each week and was not disappointed. Tonight I opted for the SMOKE AND TACO BBQ BOX. Unreal. Every bite was mouth watering and an abundance of flavour. Every village has its gem and Donaghcloney has Makin Bacon. Keep up the great work.

Phenomenal value for money. Fresh food that was absolutely divine. The take away box had a very juicy burger and the loaded fries were perfect. Can't wait to try the sit in options!

Lovely quirky place if this is your type of thing. Large portions of food at great prices all mains are from £13 / £14 no need for extras as fries come with... I had beef tacos with katsu curry fries, hubby had cheeseburger with ranch fries, all lovely , we didn't know if they sold alcohol as it doesn't state anywhere if you "bring your own" only when I asked on arrival, and it is "bring your own". Nice cosy, warm and clean, music playing we had no complaints. Highly recommended definitely worth a visit. Few wee issues we had: toilet is outside portaloo, (which neither of us used) We drove 45 min to get here , we pre booked table and was informed there was a slot for 7.30pm, we arrived at 7.36pm and told kitchen closes at 8pm , we were the only 2 in the place no one else, other than that we had a lovely evening and staff were friendly and accommodating after the 1st little hick up. Enjoyed ourselves and food was lovely .

A gorgeous tiny restaurant on the Main Street. Freshly prepared burgers, loaded fries, cooked breakfasts, waffles and salads. Also good for tea and coffee.
